Suzette is a writer and theatre maker. She is currently developing A Jewish Love Story, a play about three generations of Jewish women in England, with support from Arts Council England and Watford Palace Theatre.
Most recently her play, The Sting was produced at both Southwark Playhouse and the Arcola Theatre and her play Superman & Me performed at The King’s Head Theatre. She has been long-listed for the Old Vic 12 Playwrights Prize.
For television Suzette was one of the initial writers on the ground-breaking late-night ITV1 soap NIGHT & DAY. Her TV drama series, THE GIVERS, a 60 minute TV drama pilot reached the top 10% of scripts for BBC Writersroom 10, and NEVER LEAVING HOME, a 60 minute pilot TV drama pilot reached the final 14 of BBC Writersroom 5.
Suzette’s first feature MOSHE MAKES WAVES – the first and only Hassidic Jewish Surfing movie – was optioned by Frank Mannion of Princess Productions.
Suzette is artistic director of theatre company, Little Pieces of Gold, which has produced the plays of hundreds of emerging, established and award-winning playwrights. Little Pieces of Gold’s first play anthology Short Plays with Great Roles for Women is published by Routledge Books and is available in the UK and internationally.
