Izzy’s had projects in development with VAL, Genial Productions, Company Pictures & ITV Studios America. One of the BBC Pilot cohort for 2023-4, she’s also a BAFTA Rocliffe and Shore Scripts winner. She’s recently completed her first feature film script under the mentorship of Oscar-winning screenwriter Peter Straughan.
Izzy was Story Producer on TRYING (seasons 2 & 3) for Apple TV+ and wrote additional material. She’s been a winner of the BAFTA Rocliffe Comedy Showcase, been commissioned to write sketches for HARRY & PAUL (BBC2), has storylined for Beano Productions, and developed the sitcom pilot BOOTEEQ for ITV Studios through a writers’ room process.
Izzy’s one woman show POLITE CLUB sold out 20 performances at the Edinburgh Fringe 2019. “Engaging, intelligent and unflinchingly honest!” – The List. “Pure hilarity” – Ed Fest Mag. “..in this polished, consistently amusing debut she confirms her emergence from her shell and absolute bona fides as a comic.” – The Scotsman. Her jokes were in Best Jokes of the Fringe lists in The Telegraph, iNews and GQ.
Previously, Izzy has produced TV scripted comedy, with credits including THE WINDSORS, HARRY & PAUL and PEEP SHOW Series 5. She co-created the BBC interactive radio/online drama THE DARK HOUSE, winner of a BAFTA Interactive award. She’s also directed theatre and live comedy.
She has recently written her first feature film, A PLACE FOR US, under the mentorship of Peter Straughan.
