Carol Noble has just devised and written a four-part crime thriller vis Quad for TF1 in France and ZDF in Germany called THE PERFECT MOTHER [airing in 2020].
She is also acting as creative producer on the pre-production on her adult feature 15 Books for Quad films Paris and directed by Abd Al Malik.
Carol is working on BALLERINA 2 for Main Journey films/Atelier Animation in Montreal. This is the sequel to Ballerina/Leap, which was shown in cinemas in 2016 and is currently airing on Netflix. For the first movie she wrote the script and spent 3 years in Paris as creative co-producer supervising all aspects of the creative direction, including voice records, story boarding, design, music etc. This has inspired her to move towards writing and making her projects.
During this time in Paris, working as an in-house writer for Quad films, she also co-wrote PERE NOEL, starring Tahar Rahim [2015] and also worked on script development on LE VOLCAN starring Dany Boon [2014].
She has just written FREEDOM, a musical for Radar Films in Paris, to be directed by Sylvie Ohayon.
She is also at the early stages of developing a new animated young adult series for Quad films and Unit Image in Paris.
Two years ago, she wrote and directed THE PIXELARITY which was a series of 5 x 3-minute films for Disney/Maker studios, that aired on YouTube channels and got over 27 million views and was nominated for a Broadcast New Media award.
She is a BAFTA, RTS and BAA award winning and nominated writer for children’s animation, having worked on CHARLIE AND LOLA, BABY JAKE, TOBY’S TRAVELLING CIRCUS, LITTLE PRINCESS, POSTMAN PAT and many others.
She was just accepted onto the EU funded CINEKIDS SCRIPT LAB programme to write [and then direct her own children’s feature.] which takes place in Amsterdam and culminates in The Berlin Film Festival 2020.
She started out in theatre, forming her own company Red Rag in 1988 and taking a small minibus around the UK and Europe making people laugh and think.
