The final season of Succession has dominated this year’s Emmy nominations with 27 nods.
The acclaimed HBO series picked up 14 acting nominations including recognition for Brian Cox, Jeremy Strong, Kieran Culkin and Sarah Snook. It marks the first time in Emmys history that three performers from the same show have scored lead actor nominations in the same category.
SUCESSION won six awards, including for actors Kieran Culkin, Sarah Snook and Matthew Macfadyen and the night’s biggest award for best drama series.
The show also received a record breaking 9 Golden Globe nominations: Best Drama Series, Best Male Actor – Drama (for Brian Cox, Jeremy Strong and Kieran Culkin), Best Supporting Male Actor (for Matthew Macfadyen, Alexander Skarsgård and Alan Ruck), Best Female Actor – Drama (Sarah Snook), Best Supporting Female Actor (J. Smith-Cameron)
